The office round stops costing money
The moment a Kicktipp round passes 300 players it needs a Profipaket, and the ladder climbs quickly: 59,90 € a month at a thousand players, 239,90 € at five thousand. A wetipp Group takes 2,000 Members and stays free, because there is no paid tier to graduate onto.

Nobody is sold anything mid-matchday
Kicktipp's free app shows banner ads and sells a subscription to turn them off. wetipp shows your Predictions, the Standing, and nothing else — there is no ad slot to buy back.

No gambling in the room
Kicktipp's public rounds include bookmaker-branded games, and their iOS listing is rated 18+ citing simulated gambling and advertising. wetipp carries no betting sponsorship and no stakes of any kind. The prize is the Standing.

The group stays the people you invited
A wetipp Group is reachable only through its Invite Code or link, and is never listed, indexed, or searchable. There is no public directory your private round can end up in.

One ruleset, no arguments
Three points for the exact scoreline, two for the right result and goal difference, one for the right result. Everyone already knows it before the first Matchday, so setting up a Group is a name and a Competition, not an evening of configuration.
Where Kicktipp is still the better pick
It has run since 2000 and carries millions of players a season. If any of the following is what you need, take it.
- You want NFL, handball, ice hockey, or a league outside Europe's big five and the main cups.
- Your round is thousands of players and you are happy to pay for the capacity.
- You want to write your own scoring rules, add bonus questions, or weight points by odds.
- You need it in a web browser — wetipp is app-only.
- You want an in-round chat and company branding on the round itself.
wetipp is built for the smaller, sharper case: one circle of friends, one Competition, one Standing, nothing to pay and nothing to dismiss.

Can I import my Kicktipp round into wetipp?
Not yet. Create a Group, pick its Competition, and share the Invite Code — the people who used to get your Kicktipp link get that instead. Past Standings stay with Kicktipp.
Is wetipp really free, or free for now?
Free, with no paid tier in the app at all. There is no player count that starts a bill and no advertising to remove.
How does the scoring compare to Kicktipp's default?
wetipp scores 3 for the exact scoreline, 2 for the right result plus goal difference, 1 for the right result, counted on the 90-minute score. Kicktipp lets an admin change all of that; wetipp does not, so every Group scores the same way.
Can other people find my Group?
No. Groups are reachable only with their Invite Code or deep link, and are never publicly listed or searchable.
Which Competitions can I run?
Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, the Champions League, the Europa League, and the FA Cup — one per Group, chosen when you create it.
Is there an Android app?
Yes. wetipp is on Google Play and the App Store, with the same Groups and Standings on both.
